This being the last 7 or so weeks of my college career, I felt the urge to post in LJ, even if no one reads it. The fact that in less than two months I am going to be a college graduate scares the living crap out of me. Seriously. I am incredibly unprepared for life after college and have not gotten on the bandwagon of ummm job hunting. True to my nature I am avoiding/ignoring the issue of life after college and will soon find myself fucked, and not in the good way. I think I am most afraid of not getting a job or finding my way. I won't have health insurance, so God that means no illnesses or accidents ok, and what is worse is I am going to have to figure out what to do with myself. The problem is I have no goals and I am not motivated to do ANYTHING. It is quite sad actually. But I just don't have any drive. I seriously envy those ppl who know exactly what they want to do and are driven to do it. Its like there is this one part of me that doesn't want to do anything and this other part of me that needs to do something, anything meaningful.

eeek! youtube just recommended the luke and noah storyline from as the world turns and now I'm watching it. blergh. like I needed another gay tv couple to be in love with. I started at 186 but backtracked to their first kiss (adorable). you can totally tell the difference between american and german soaps. 4 episodes of ATWT = one night. it's pretty funny, everything goes so slow. also the american soaps are a bit more dramatic. but I loves it. let's not even kid.

phew. so I freaked out for no reason....maybe. just saw the latest 2 epis of Verbotene Liebe and no rape or murder! YES! Olli wasn't even that badly injured...dare I say I'm a bit disappointed. However, I am glad that the boys are okay. very cute ending.

I'm catching a wireless signal from somewhere (thank god) or else I wouldn't have internet. still need to clean. it is amazing the amount of stuff we have. also I have no clothes so laundry must be done.

so its been a million years.

I just finished my job and now its crunch time to move into my sister's room. I've got 2 weeks before I go back to school and I'm leaving for vacation the weekend before so that makes the time even shorter. My goal is to get primarily moved in by Thursday (eek!) since Colleen is visiting and I'm guessing she might want a place to sleep.

more importantly. Verbotene Liebe = best. Things are getting pretty crazy. Christian just came out to everyone after he won his boxing match and now Axel is on a rampage. BTW, the coming out was ADORABLE. Him and Olli were too cute. BUT at the end of the episode Axel had Olli pinned to the ground and was swinging a metal object near Olli's body! There are numerous ways this can happen. Here is what I'm afraid of...well 2 things actually.

1) Olli gets raped! and badly injured. Him and Christian have a hard time getting over it. Olli dealing with the attack and Christian dealing with the guilt.
2) Christian comes downstairs and sees Axel hit Olli. Christian, being the loose canon he sometimes can be, goes crazy on Axel and either seriously injures him or kills him (he's been to prison we don't know what he had to become to stay alive in there). Then of course he gets arrested. Christian in prison again!!! blergh

so I'm cleaning my room b/c I am determined to leave it in good shape. I cleaned it hard core earlier this summer and then I started working all the time and lost my mind. I never put my clothes away I would just throw them n my circle chair which I am currently staring at. My next task - clean off the circle chair. everything must be rewashed and folded b/c its all wrinkly and blegh. my floor is now clean it used to have clothes, broken glass and change all of over it. I'm like a crazy monster. Anyways its been vacuumed and my desk and side table have been wiped with antibasterial wipes b/c god only knows. ewe.

I prolly won't clean my chair off tonight.

k, so all this week is packing time. I am going to carefully go through all my clothes and really pick out what I want to take to school. last week at home. ::gasp::

been listening to hairspray ALL day - lovely and playing an obnoxious game of phone tag with vicky. we've honestly raised the bar on phone tag.

so I watched the HRC forum well I watched half of it. BORING. and I feel like it showed just how unimportant people take this to be. I mean there was like .5 people in the audience. They talked to the politicians one on one versus having them all out there answering questions which is good and bad. good b/c you get to talk to them directly and more intimately bad b/c they get to blabber on about god knows what while they dodge the question and promote themselves. Obama was boring and uninspiring I could not pay attention. Edwards was cute but boring as well. the only one I liked was KUCINICH. He was adorable and he talked passionately about things. I didn't stay tuned for the rest which I kind of regret now b/c I would have liked to have seen Hillary and seen if she inspired me.

KUCINICH right now is my man. I have to look into him more but he is adorable and he seems to be genuine. He said last night that a president has to do the right thing first. He was the one opposing the war when it wasn't popular to and as president he would do the right thing first. KUCINICH! He won't win unfortunately...I shouldn't say too much more. let me read about him and then I'll get back to if I'm a real supporter.

4 more weeks!!!!

SO 4 more weeks ladies and gents! yupppers. I got 4 more weeks at CBS and 3 more weeks at the pizza place, I'm uber excited! but also sad b/c although I've been counting the days till I go back to school it hasn't been b/c I'm so in love with school...its just been b/c I hate working all the time...and alas the realization dawned on me that as soon as school starts I got 9 am classes every day and a crap load of work (thank you very much biopsychology). PLus I like being at home and watching my tele and being able to take MYSELF places like the grocery store or to the movies (cause let's be honest I don't go anywhere else).

So I signed up for something at school that I basically have no interest in, helping to plan homecoming! all because it'll get me back early..again my urge to go back to school early is not out of a love for selinsgrove but rather out of my incredible impatient behavior. I hate waiting in traffic and Sunday when all the kiddies go back to school will be a crazy day. Hence why I will be coming back to school 4 days early...I know you're thinking 4 days is a bit much and I agree but alas that is all I could swing.

side note...I'm sitting here typing eating grapes..NOW I do like grapes but jebus christ I would love some chips right about now....

So I should be doing my write up for my research methods lab. Reaction time experiment - how fun! Tomorrow we are going to be introduced to our rats which should be pretty exciting...and gross but I'm kinda looking forward to it. I chose to work alone because working in groups kind of annoys me, relying on other people to get their work done well never works. Of course I never actually get my work done either but....that's a different point.

I love procrastinating, well actually I hate it but I really don't want to do my work right now. Then again I never want to do my work so what else is new?

Anyways, awwww I'm listening to Come back to bed by John Mayer and its making me want to go to bed and its also making me sad that I'm single....::sigh:: but let's not open up that can of worms because it'll just end in me being depressed and I'd rather not be.

Hmmm...what else.......................ahh yes, whatever happened to TV theme songs and openings? I feel like all of the shows I've been watching have been lacking an opening part. Now all they do is just show the title of the show with like a little bit of music playing in the background. It's upsetting. I miss it. Fresh Prince of Bel Air, that opening is classic. I wantt some more of that. Comedies in general have just gone down in quality. I mean, there are a few exceptions like Arrested Development but for the most part comedies today suck. The general public is just so goddamn dumb. Everything is dumbed down for everyone, its frustrating. We lack smart shows. Dramas are a bit of an exception b/c wel there are a lot of good dramas out there. I just think the comedy genre is failing. There will never be another Friends, or Will and Grace and that is such a shame.

Well, I guess I've procrastinated enough on LJ, maybe I'll start my work now.......prolly not.

Oh I almost forgot the most important part, I was Adebisi for HALLOWEEN!! Well, technically Halloween has not happened yet but I was ADEBISI at the Halloween party at TRAX. It was awesome x10. Plus, this kid knew who I was just by looking at my hat, it made my YEAR. ahhh good times.

Update: braces are a go.....::sigh:: Apparently, I really need them so alas, I shall have braces for the next 2 - 3 years. Currently I have my back rings on or whatever they are called. They are going to form callouses on my cheek and in order to ease some of the scrapping I am supposed to put wax in my mouth.

Back at school from a very short fall break. It was nice to be home. Good to see my cat, aww Henry.

Noah's ARC first season is currently in my possession...SO FUN will be had. If only I had Strangers With Candy..

Midterm grades are about to come out, we'll see how that goes. This half of the semester I really need to catch up on my reading and do my homework....

we'll see how that goes...so yeah that's all, my mind is fuzzy and I'm sick so I can't think of anything interesting or funny to write.

oh yesterday was the first day in like 7 weeks that I didn't go to work. It was so weird to not be there, its going to be weird today because a whole day went on without me there. Davis probably called and I missed it, maybe Eleanor came by and Ira, Tammy and Amanda. Perhaps Young called and I missed his order...even though I complained about my job ALOT I think I'm going to miss it. I'll miss the people I've gotten so used to seeing everyday...man I'm getting all sad now.

Oh and update on the whole braces thing, I'm probabl not getting them before I leave for school because it takes some time and my next appointment is the day before we leave so...I might have to come into the city again like the following weekend to get it all done. I think I'm okay with the whole braces thing now. I mean apparently it hurst when they put it on which I am not looking forward to but so I'll have braces..no big deal.

So I haven't been online in like 5 days basically whih is weird...I mean I went on for a quick minute to check fanfic but like I haven't been on on line in a while which is well WEIRD.

So, school is just around the corner. I'm ready to go back. I mean its not that I don't like being hom because I love it but I mean I'm ready to go back. A month ago I wouldn't have been ready but now I am.

Oh and for all those who will read this........I'm OFFICIALLY getting braces....yes my overbite is apparently so bad that if I don't get braces I could lose my teeth or look like bucktooth sally for the rest of my life. So for the next 2-3 years I will have braces..SHOOT ME NOW.

So..........nothing new really. Its been three weeks on the job, the nights are moving faster and are less unbearable so all is well.

Noah's ARC is like my new favorite show....I can't wait to show everyone back at school, you guys'll flip. Its so bad its GOOOOOOOOOOOD

Also, I've been buying a lot of clothes lately, and I'm ashamed because not one dvd has been bought since I started getting paid....its a tragedy...its almost as if I'm turning into ::gasp:: a girl! ewe

Lifetime has changed its look. Their whole thing is "My story is on Lifetime" I like the new look, and the commercials for their new shows. Reba and Still Standing are going to be added to their schedule but I'm afraid that they are going to get rid of The Nanny. I'm kind of surprised that they added Frasier because its not like a woman's show. I mean there is Daphne and Ross but that's it....strange. Anyways, I love Lifetime..

Oh! and there was a Quantum Leap Marathon on the other day and I FLIPPED OUT. I love that show....
